Jess trained as a solicitor at Blake Lapthorn before moving in-house in 1997 to work at Norwich Union, advising its health insurance business over a 10 year period. She joined Technology Law Alliance in September 2007.
Jess has wide-ranging experience in advising on IT, outsourcing and e-commerce matters in an FSA-regulated environment. As a former senior in-house lawyer, she has experience of leading a team of lawyers and advising at all levels of business.
Examples of Jess's recent work include:
- advising on and negotiating a framework IT contract with a utilities company for the provision of application development services by a major IT supplier.
- drafting website terms of business for a creative agency selling images over the web.
- advising on and assisting in re-drafting IT and data contracts for a major financial services company.
