Eddie trained as a Solicitor at Martineau's before moving in-house in 1996 to become the first and Sole Legal Counsel with the water supplier South Staffordshire Group Plc . Eddie then went on to work for gas and electricity generator/supplier Independent Energy (later acquired by nPower), before joining Fujitsu in 2001.
In his 7 years with Fujitsu Eddie worked on a wide range of ICT transactions and contracts, working with public and private sector customers as well as ICT-sector service providers and suppliers. Eddie joined Technology Law Alliance in 2008.
Examples of Eddie's recent work include:
- negotiating a contract with a major telecommunications company for the provision of network services for a high street retail chain.
- advising a major IT supplier on e-procurement contract arrangements with a government department.
- drafting contractual arrangements for a start-up e-commerce business operating in the training and skills field.
